Closing webinar. Mariupol comprehensive school №65, Ukraine

  During the closing webinar we discussed the results of the project "4 in 1", the improvement of language skills of the students. We think that friendship between countries starts with friendship of teachers and students.

    Our scientific journey was so interesting, pupils created presentations about famous inventors of their countries. Their inventions were so important that the humanity cannot imagine our world without them nowadays. Mentimeter helped the students to share their feelings after the meeting.

    This meeting helped the students of our school to understand what they should cook. They discussed the ingredients, the way of cooking and the peculiarities of the recipe. Everybody was happy to speak English once gain. I think this meeting helped to improve their speaking skills.

  The online meeting was in the form of quiz. Its topic was the world kitchen. Students could check their knowledge and learnt much interesting and useful information. It was exciting and funny! Our congratulations to the winners!

Disasters. Mariupol comprehensive school №65, Ukraine

      There was a flood because of strong rain in Mariupol this summer. Buses and cars could not go, people had to swim in order to go home. Rescue services worked hard to help people.

    Students of our school were interested by preparation to this activity. During ZOOM meeting they told about an outstanding inventor Sergiy Korolyov who was born in Ukraine. They also had KAHOOT quiz show and created a cloud of words in Mentimeter. It was exciting!

Funny inventions. Mariupol comprehensive school №65, Ukraine

             Sergiy Timchuk is Ukrainian who invented eatable food wrap of corn starch. It is environmentally friendly and helps to prolong the storage time of food. If you put it to boiling water it will melt. Even if you throw it away it will vanish for some weeks. And of course you can eat it!

School adventures. Mariupol comprehensive school №65, Ukraine

    Students of our school participate in celebration of "Day of vyshyvanka" and "Shevchenko's week". Vyshyvanka is a national shirt and all students wear it this day. Shevchenko is a national poet of Ukraine and the students learn his poems, recite them and participate in concerts.

Traditional dishes. Mariupol comprehensive school № 65, Ukraine

    The most delicious Ukrainian dish is borscht. This traditional dish is cooked of 30 ingredients! If you try it once you will wish to eat borscht every day!

Safer Internet Day. Mariupol comprehensive school №65, Ukraine

    Students of our school have learnt the basic notions of safe behavior in the Internet in class. They also studied new English words on this topic having watched the video.

CLOSING WEBINAR

  I'm very happy to work with this great team. Many thanks to our leaders Çağrı and Jelena and also to my dear colleagues. I hope we will work again as a team.  Thanks for everything. Hope to see you again.

OUR FINAL WEBINAR (Thanks forever!)

Today, 9th June 2021, w e have hold our Final  Webinar of this project.  Although it has been a very hard school year, I am really proud of being part of this team. I thank Çagry Dere and Jelena Vukičević for their lidership and help during the whole project. It has been very important for us. And I also want to thank the rest of teachers (Inese Abola, Yetkin Dere, Viktoriya Chumachkina, Ana Merchán, Malgorzata Brodziak and Antonia Petkovic) for being a  so hardworker team, and give me and to my students the possibility of knowing your countries and your cultural treassures a little more. But  I would like to give a special mention to all our students from the different school centers that are members of this project, for having been there, despite how complicated it may have been at times.  YOU ARE ALL MY TRUE CHAMPIONS! Thanks you all for everything. Let's go for the next one! 😉👍
